ATS has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler. 

This individual will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating proactive maintenance work performed at the site, with the objective of minimizing total maintenance cost and effort, by maximizing maintenance work force efficiency and productivity.  

Responsibilities will include:
* Performing administrative duties in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* 
Work order tracking
* 
Directing and executing the site's proactive maintenance program
* 
Interfacing with corporate Information Services (IS)
* 
Managing the processes of call management
* 
Preparing site maintenance performance data as required
* 
Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the preventive maintenance program
* 
Scheduling all planned maintenance activity at the site
* 
Managing the site's spare parts inventory, including weekly monitoring of inventory
* 
Controlling inventory budget accuracy, turns, and other inventory management measurements
Qualifications:
* 
Associate's Degree required in a technical field and 1 - 3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both
* 
Experience in an industrial environment preferred
* 

Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred
* 
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred)
* 
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook 
* 
Project management and capital project experience preferred

Summary:
Independently leads a site's reliability program to enhance the effectiveness of the maintenance organization through development and implementation of various reliability strategies and techniques.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
* Analyzes equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques
* Ensures that ATS Reliability Process meets or exceeds RPM reliability audit objectives
* Provides training and coaching in ATS Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and takes ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause analysis projects are documented
* Manages the work order documentation in the CMMS to support a robust reliability and failure analysis effort (including monitoring closed work orders and providing training/coaching to the team)
* Partners with appropriate suppliers and customer technical resources to document best practices in the creation of robust PM, PdM, CdM and OPM tasks
* Engages customer technical resources, supply chain personnel, and key suppliers to develop and document robust spare parts lists, while striving to achieve best life cycle cost of ownership
* Provides leadership in conducting or arranging for the training of maintenance tasks, techniques, technologies, and concepts for maintenance technicians and support staff
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, &amp; Behaviors Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Expert knowledge of reliability principles. 
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
Previous project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

* Working with customers to coordinate all gage calibrations and repairs including tracking bi-weekly shipments and expediting/tracking hot jobs
* Performing minor gage repairs
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records of plant gage inventory according to established methodology
* Responding to customer service requests
* 
Setting up and issuing gages from Gage Crib
* 
Picking up and delivering gages to machine operators
* 
Operating gage tracking software to enter/view certification records
* 
Responding to work order tickets to repair gages on shop floor
* 
Auditing gage records periodically and make corrections as needed to insure gage record accuracy
* 
Participating in audits of the Gage Crib for safety, good housekeeping, lost gages, issued gages, correct storage location, and condition of gages



* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Close vision and color vision required
* Experience working with gages, instruments, materials, parts and cribs, data entry, and inventory management preferred
* Experience in the manufacturing environment preferred
